It’s a little too out there for me, honestly. I like more classic designs that are going to age well. A few years from now this will look dated.

I think it's a miss. Hyundai is trying too hard to be different. That’s why most cars follow certain design principles.

I'd much rather have this over a traditional compact. It has a boxy shape, which probably helps when parking, and the visibility looks to be great.

Yes, it's practical, but what price? Many buyers just want a normal looking car and the weird looks may be a turn off.

Mainstream small cars will probably stick to simpler, cheaper designs, I reckon, but I think it'll influence some niche models.

While it could be a trend in EVs, I don’t think we’ll see such flexibility in the gas small cars anytime soon.
