I have to say that adjusting the AC while driving can be a bit of a pain, but I love the clean look of the interior. It’s still a premium feeling though, so it’s worth it.

I’m not super tech savvy and I hate that there are no physical buttons. I’ve missed being able to adjust things by feel, without having to take my eyes off the road.

I got used to it in a week or two, and now I love the tech heavy interior. Driving a spaceship compared to my old car!

I'm concerned about how well those touch panels will last. In a few years when the screen starts to get glitchy what happens? It seems like an expensive fix.

It’s cool tech, but I wish Hyundai had found a middle ground. Perhaps physical controls for those things you need to adjust often, while having touch for less frequent adjustments?

In fact, I ended up returning my Tucson because I just couldn’t get used to the touch controls. I loved everything else about the car, but safety comes first for me, so it’s a shame.
Has Hyundai Tucson's value proposition still not chewed into the luxury brands?

I cross shopped the Tucson against the BMW X1, and honestly, the Hyundai felt more premium inside. I paid a lot less for way more features, sure it doesn’t have the badge.
Has Hyundai Tucson's value proposition still not chewed into the luxury brands?

It’s a Hyundai, and the Tucson is nice. You can't get that feeling of driving a luxury brand the Tucson just doesn't match, no matter how many features they stuff in.
Has Hyundai Tucson's value proposition still not chewed into the luxury brands?

I own both luxury and mainstream brands and the gap is getting smaller. The Tucson is a great build quality and features, and I don't miss my old Audi like I thought I would.
Has Hyundai Tucson's value proposition still not chewed into the luxury brands?

Hyundai's killing it with value, I think. In the Tucson, you can get all the bells and whistles of a luxury model without paying more for a stripped down luxury model. But the snob appeal is the only thing missing.
Has Hyundai Tucson's value proposition still not chewed into the luxury brands?

The fact is, a loaded Tucson is still cheaper than most budget luxury SUV. You’re also saving on maintenance costs. If you're practical, it's a no brainer.

I drove both and wound up with the Tucson. Compared to tech, the luxury brands felt a little stale. I may not be the target luxury buyer, but I’d rather have modern features than a fancy badge.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

Maruti has really stepped up their game with the Fronx I think. However, the interior does feel a lot more premium than older Marutis, though it isn’t quite at Hyundai’s level.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

I have sat in all three and my opinion would be that the Venue and Sonet still have an edge. It’s just that the materials feel a bit more plush, especially in the top trims.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

For its price point, the Fronx interior is perfectly fine. It’s not going to be as flashy as the Korean cars, but it’s functional and well put together.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

The Fronx’s design is actually cleaner and simpler and that’s what I prefer. Sometimes the Venue and Sonet interiors feel a bit busy and overdone.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

I’m a Fronx owner and the quality is impressive. It’s not luxury car level, but it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The touchpoints are nice.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

While the Fronx definitely loses the wow factor to the Koreans, I think the interior is a little more ergonomic and easier to live with day to day.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

Then let’s be real, Maruti still has some catching up to do. Hyundai and Kia are still ahead in perceived quality, but the Fronx is better than before.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

It depends on what you value, I think. If you want lots of features and a techy feel, go Korean. The Fronx works great if you like simplicity and ease of use.
