Should I buy a used Bajaj Pulsar 200 DTS-i 2008 model?
02 January 2023 06:48
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 DTS-i 2008 is available with an estimated price of INR 30,000 in the used market. If you are planning to buy this motorcycle without EMI, it is suggested that you should put the same amount as down payment and buy yourself a new 150-200 cc motorcycle from your favorite brand. The 9 year old motorcycle won't give you the right feel while riding. If you plan to keep it for a short time, then it would be good but if you wish to spend atleast 3-5 years with your bike, a new one or a newer used model is recommended. Which is better Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 or Bajaj Pulsar 150?
02 January 2023 06:47
Starting from the looks of Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 we can say it is indeed a good looking bike with new colours, paint scheme and graphics, tubeless tyres and new instrument panel. Powering the Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 is 149cc engine based on Yamaha’s Blue Core technology which can produce 12.1PS at 7,500rpm and torque peaks at 12.8Nm at 6,000rpm. Bajaj Pulsar 150 also gets its power from the 149 cc engine which produces 15 Bhp at 9000 rpm. And the design part of Bajaj Pulsar 150 is also striking and attractive. In fact both are very close competitors but Bajaj wins over when it comes to performance and Yamaha wins when it comes to engine refinement and quality it delivers.

Should I buy Bajaj Pulsar 220F?
02 January 2023 06:46
Hello Sidharth, the AS200 has not actually failed from the performance perspective while the low sales number is the reason to bring the failure tag close to it. The Pulsar 220F is a great motorcycle for sure but its typical rear half section feels outdated for a motorcycle of this class. If faired is your first choice, you only have the choice between Pulsar AS200, 220F, Yamaha Fazer and Suzuki Gixxer under INR 1 lakh. Lack of option and least difference between the prices of 150 cc others and 220 cc Pulsar makes it  the clear winner out of all. However, the KTM sourced 199.5 cc motor is more refined and uses more technology on the AS200. If you plan to keep your bike with you for next 4-5 few years, do consider your favorite instead of going over low market value and resale prices.
What is the fuel tank capacity and reserve fuel tank capacity of Bajaj pulsar 150 DTSi 2008 model?
02 January 2023 06:46
Bajaj Pulsar comes with a 149 cc, 4-stroke, DTS-i, air-cooled, single cylinder engine. This engine can churn out 15.06 PS at 9000 rpm of power and 12.5 Nm at 6500 rpm of torque. The total fuel tank capacity of the bike is 15 litres. It has got a kerb weight of 144 kg and is priced at Rs. 72,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Why Bajaj Pulsar 220F does not have a 6th gear and single suspension at the back?
02 January 2023 06:45
Bajaj Pulsar 220F belongs to an old generation of motorcycles which were fitted with a a 5-speed gearbox and the use of 6-speed gearbox as well as monoshock was limited to expensive bikes. If Bajaj would have updated the same with technologies like fuel injection and others, the motorcycle would have costed around 1,25,000 at that time. Now they cannot do the same as it will cannibalize the sales of higher variants like AS200 and RS200. If someone wants loads of technology, RS200 is the option while if brute power is the need, Pulsar 220F manages it well.
Does Bajaj Avenger have a trip-meter like Bajaj Pulsar?

I want to buy TVS Draken or Bajaj Pulsar CS200, which one is the best?
02 January 2023 06:45
Bajaj Pulsar CS 200 would be the only choice as TVS Draken would never be made into production by the same name. TVS has introduced Apache RTR 200, which looks good and even comes with a CS 200 rival engine. You can consider the RTR 200 4V or wait for the CS 200 in the coming months. Pulsar CS 200 is expected to get the power form the same 199.5 cc engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling, producing 24.5 HP and 18.6 Nm of torque with its 6-speed gearbox. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V costs INR 88,990 while the CS 200 is expected to stay around INR 1 lakh or even more.
