Nope, it’s overkill for a 160cc bike. Instead, save your money and spend it on better riding gear. Fancy ABS will do more for your safety than that.

Depends on your riding style. If you’re a daily commuter in heavy traffic, the dual channel ABS is peace of mind. The single channel is fine for weekend rides, however.

I'd say go for it. When you think about the long term benefits though, the price difference isn’t that much. It’s also a nice feature to have should you ever want to sell the bike.

To be honest, I don’t think it’s anything other than a marketing gimmick. Learn how to brake properly, and you don’t need dual channel ABS on a 160cc bike.

There is no question that the N160 is one of the most comfortable on the market. I've never had back pain on a 300km ride. The FZ-S can't say the same.

Can the Pulsar N160 tackle long distance touring?

It's all about expectations I think. The N160 is a great budget touring guitar. It's efficient, it’s reliable, and it’s comfortable enough. It won't compete with the bigger bikes built for touring, but don't expect it to.
