I did a 300km round trip on my SR 160 Carbon and it was surprisingly comfortable. The engine has enough grunt to freeway cruise, and the seat is firm, but supportive.

It's terrible for long rides. The suspension is so stiffly set up that you get beat up, then the small fuel tank necessitates stops. This one is good for city riding.

It is okay for medium distance rides but any distance over 200km is tiring. The biggest issue is that there isn't any wind protection – you are a sail at highway speeds.

I love it for long rides! The riding position is sporty and I am engaged and the handling instills confidence on twisty roads. Just plan your fuel stops and pack light.

It’s not ideal, but you can do it if you’re willing to make some modifications. A taller windscreen and gel seat cover will make you much more comfortable on longer journeys.

I wouldn't suggest you use it for long rides. After an hour or so the vibrations become annoying and the small wheels make you nervous on rough highways.

If you're used to sportier bikes, it's actually pretty good for long rides. It looks like it would be an uncomfortable seating position, but the performance makes the miles fly by and the seating position is completely comfy.

I have ridden both of them and the Aprilia feels more exciting. It corners like it's on rails and the throttle response is sharper. The Aerox is smoother, but less engaging.

The Aerox is the all rounder. It’s more comfortable for daily use, more fuel efficient, and Yamaha’s reliability is unbeatable. On looks, the Aprilia only wins.

For practical reasons I’d go with the Aerox. It has a larger fuel tank, parts and service are easier to find. In real world riding, the difference in performance isn’t noticeable.

I have owned both and I prefer the Aprilia. The build quality is a notch up, and the brakes are much better. Although the engine is smoother on the Aerox.

For most people, the Aerox is the smarter choice. It's more refined, has better resale value and is less temperamental. If style and uniqueness are what you’re after, then the Aprilia is for you.

Not worth it at all. For that price, you can get a decent 200cc motorcycle with way better performance. The SR 160 is no more than a toy for the rich people who want to show off.

That all depends on what you want. It’s not a great daily commuter if you want something practical. The SR 160 Carbon, however, if you want something fun and unique to stand out from the crowd.

If you can afford it, I'd say it's worth it. The build quality, and attention to detail is on another level than regular scooters. It is plus, the resale value holds up well.
