Friday, 17 January 2025 08:03 AM Tata Motors has unveiled the Tata Safari Bandipur Edition at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This special edition features an exclusive Bandipur Bronze paint scheme, an elephant mascot on the front fender, and Khaki leatherette upholstery inside. The mechanical specifications remain the same as the regular Safari, with a 2-litre diesel engine producing 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. I think this edition adds a nice touch of elegance and uniqueness to the Safari lineup.
Wednesday, 15 January 2025 01:11 PM The 2025 Tata Safari facelift is expected to launch in July, featuring a new 1.5L 4-cylinder tGDI petrol engine that produces 168 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. It will come with both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic transmission options. Cosmetic updates are also anticipated, enhancing the SUVs overall appeal. I believe the addition of a petrol engine will attract a broader customer base.
Sunday, 12 January 2025 04:23 AM Tata Motors showcased the pre-production version of the Tata Safari at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, highlighting its refreshed design and advanced features. The SUV retains its powerful 2-litre diesel engine but now comes with enhanced safety features, including up to 7 airbags and a 360-degree camera. The interior boasts a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. I think these updates make the Safari a strong contender in the SUV segment.
Friday, 20 December 2024 02:20 PM The Tata Safari continues to be a popular choice in the Indian market, competing with the MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, and Mahindra XUV700. Prices for the Safari range from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 26.79 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The upcoming Bandipur Edition is expected to carry a small premium over the regular models. I believe the Safaris versatility and feature-packed interior make it a great value for money.
Friday, 15 November 2024 02:20 PM Tata Motors has been working on enhancing the safety features of the Tata Safari, which now includes electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These updates are part of the companys commitment to providing safer vehicles for Indian consumers. I think these safety features are a significant step forward for the Safari.
Friday, 25 October 2024 02:09 AM The Tata Safari has been praised for its spacious interiors and luxurious amenities, including a powered tailgate, dual-zone automatic AC, and a panoramic sunroof. The SUV also features ventilated front and second-row seats, making it comfortable for long drives. I believe the Safaris interior is one of its strongest selling points.
Friday, 20 September 2024 02:27 AM Tata Motors has confirmed that the Tata Safari will retain its 2-litre diesel engine in the upcoming facelift, which will be paired with both manual and automatic transmission options. This engine combination has been well-received by consumers for its performance and fuel efficiency. I think sticking with this proven engine is a wise decision.
Thursday, 15 August 2024 04:05 AM The Tata Safari has been a favorite among Indian car buyers due to its robust build quality and off-road capabilities. The SUVs design and features have been refined over the years to cater to both family comfort and adventure seekers. I believe the Safaris off-road prowess sets it apart from its competitors.
Wednesday, 10 July 2024 05:22 PM Tata Motors has been focusing on enhancing the technology features of the Tata Safari, including a 10-speaker JBL sound system and a wireless phone charger. These updates aim to provide a more convenient and enjoyable driving experience. I think these tech additions make the Safari feel more modern and appealing.
Thursday, 20 June 2024 01:45 AM The Tata Safari has seen consistent sales in the Indian market, thanks to its blend of luxury, performance, and practicality. The SUVs 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and 4-way powered co-driver seat add to its comfort and convenience. I believe the Safaris overall package makes it a compelling choice for many buyers.
Monday, 23 June 2025 02:46 PM Tata has been spotted testing the 2025 Safari with a petrol engine option, marking a significant update as the current model lacks this variant. The petrol powertrain is expected to be a 1.5L turbocharged TGDi engine producing around 170PS and 280Nm, designed to meet BS6 Phase II norms and compatible with E20 fuel. Alongside this, Tata is working on a more powerful diesel update, tuning the 2.0L engine up to 180bhp from the existing 170bhp. These updates could improve performance and offer more choices to buyers by year-end. I think adding a petrol variant will help Safari attract more urban customers who prefer petrol over diesel.
Monday, 23 June 2025 11:55 AM Test mules of the upcoming petrol-powered Tata Safari were recently seen running heavily camouflaged on Indian roads. Despite the disguises, there appear to be no major exterior design changes from the current model, suggesting Tata is mainly focused on powertrain diversification rather than a facelift. This petrol version is expected to hit showrooms by year-end with manual and automatic transmission options. I think maintaining the popular design while adding the petrol engine strikes a good balance between freshness and familiarity.
Saturday, 31 May 2025 05:37 AM Tata recently acquired the rights to independently develop the 2.0L FAM B diesel engine, currently used in both the Safari and Harrier. This move lets Tata recalibrate the engine to produce about 180bhp and possibly increase torque beyond 400Nm, improving performance and refinement over the current setup. It’s a smart strategy to reduce reliance on external partners and improve product competitiveness. I feel this engine upgrade will help Safari keep pace with rivals offering more powerful diesel options.
Friday, 28 February 2025 03:52 AM Long-term reviews of the latest Tata Safari diesel have highlighted its comfortable ride quality and well-equipped cabin. Features like electric tailgate, seat ventilation, memory seats, and a panoramic sunroof give the Safari a premium feel that appeals to families. The ambient lighting adds a nice touch at night as well. Personally, I think Safari offers one of the best interiors in its price range which makes daily driving and long trips more enjoyable.
Thursday, 13 February 2025 10:14 AM Tata Safari’s special Stealth Edition was launched in India at Rs. 25.29 lakh ex-showroom earlier this year. It brings unique cosmetic upgrades and was first revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This edition caters to buyers looking for exclusivity without major mechanical changes. I believe special editions like this enhance the model’s appeal for brand enthusiasts wanting a fresh look without the wait for a full redesign.
Saturday, 07 October 2023 01:00 AM The new Tata Safari continues to hold the title as the safest vehicle in India, boasting the highest 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. The SUV scored 33.05 points out of a maximum 34 for adult safety, plus top marks for child protection. This safety leadership gives the Safari a big edge in the competitive SUV market where family safety is a top priority. I think this strong safety record will remain a major selling point as buyers become more conscious of crash protection features.
