The current Mercedes-Benz EQC was quietly discontinued in the second quarter of 2023, with the company deciding not to make a public announcement. The EQC struggled in the market, selling only around 64,000 units worldwide since its debut in 2019, far below Mercedes-Benzs initial expectations. I believe the lack of traction was partly due to its limited range and competitive landscape.
