The new Maruti Dzire 2024 is set to be launched in India on November 11, 2024, with an expected price range of Rs. 6.70 lakh to Rs. 10.49 lakh. The car will be available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus. It features a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto AC with rear vents, and a single-pane sunroof, among other amenities. I believe these updates will make the Dzire a strong contender in the compact sedan segment.

Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the new-generation Dzire, which boasts a modern design with a large chrome grille, upsized wheels, and a distinct front and rear bumper. The interior includes a dual-tone black and gray theme, wooden inserts, and a bigger 9-inch touchscreen entertainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I think the new design and features will significantly enhance the Dzires appeal in the Indian market.

The 2024 Maruti Dzire will be powered by a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z series petrol engine, producing 82 PS and 112 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. An optional CNG powertrain is also available, with a reduced output of 70 PS and 102 Nm. The claimed fuel efficiency figures are 24.79 kmpl for petrol MT, 25.71 kmpl for petrol AMT, and 33.73 km/kg for CNG. I believe the addition of a CNG option will attract more buyers looking for fuel efficiency.

The new Maruti Dzire 2024 comes with enhanced safety features, including 6 airbags as standard, electronic stability control (ESC), and rear parking sensors. It also features a 360-degree camera, a segment-first in the compact sedan category. I think these safety features will be a major selling point for the new Dzire.

Maruti Suzuki has started accepting orders for the 2024 Dzire with a token amount of Rs. 11,000. The car is expected to compete directly with the new-generation Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor. I believe the early booking option will generate significant interest and pre-launch buzz for the new Dzire.
