Which One is Better - Ford EcoSport or Renault Duster?

Ford Ecosport gets a lighter price tag than its biggest on-road competitor, Renault Duster.The latter gets a starting price of Rs.7.99 Lakh, while the Ecosport gets only Rs.5.59 Lakh. When we talk about the comfort, Ecosport wins the battle. It features driver's armrest and height adjustable seats, which is absent is Duster. The boot space of Duster measures 475 liters. While, the Ford SUV has only 346 liters. The latter is more fuel efficient, it delivers nearly 22.7 km/l of astonishing fuel economy. On the contrary, Duster offers only 19 km/l when on peak.

On crowded city roads, Ecosport is better, but for longer drives in highways, Duster gets a clean chit. The back seat of Duster is more spacious and it can easily accommodate three adults. In Ecosport, they feel a little cramped. Both the cars offer three engine options. However, there's no match for Ford's EcoBoost 1 L petrol engine. It offers a decent power of 125 PS and a peak torque of 170 Nm. But, for the long drivers, diesel trims are in much more demand. All in all, Ford Ecosport offers a much effortless and smoother drive. The interiors are almost equally good but in Ford's car the air vents are sharper and the buttons are nicely placed over.
