Which is better - Mahindra Quanto or Maruti Ertiga?
Mahindra Quanto was recently launched in India on 20th September as a direct rival of segment leader Maruti Ertiga. As far as looks are concerned Maruti Ertiga's front end is quite similar to the Ritz and interiors are same like New Swift. There is nothing very unique about the design and styling. On the other hand Mahindra Quanto looks very handsome and macho with better proportions and styling. It is also more powerful with 100 bhp on tap in comparison to the Ertiga which generates 88.8 bhp at 4000 rpm. The base model of Quanto diesel is available for INR 5.99 lakhs while Ertiga's base model (diesel) is priced at Rs. INR 7.30 lakhs. The only drawback of Quanto is that the last row of seats is very uncomfortable and is strictly for kids.
