When Wll Chevrolet Launch the Spin MPV in India?

The Chevrolet Spin MPV is expected to be launched at 2016 Autos Expo in February. It will be offered in both diesel and petrol version. The diesel variant would be powered by the 1248 cc engine which comes with a maximum power of 73.8 Bhp at 4000 rpm and 172.5 Nm of torque coming at 1750 rpm. On the other side, the petrol variant has got a 1399 cc engine which is expected to generate a maximum power of 98.8 Bhp @ 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 131 Nm @ 4400 rpm. Both the engines are mated to 5-speed manual gearbox.

In terms of dimensions, Chevrolet Spin MPV has got a length of 4620 mm, a width of 1735 mm and a height of 1644 mm. It has a wheelbase of 2620mm. The front overhang measures 870mm and rear overhang stands at 850mm. It is expected to be come with disc brakes at front an d drum brakes at rear. For the safety of passengers, it would be loaded with 2 airbags, front seat belts, anti-theft alarm, speed sensitive door autolock etc. It also has front and rear fog lights which the company has adjusted for clear visibility.
