When is Nissan Going to re-launch the Datsun Brand in India?
Nissan is going to launch the Datsun brand on 15th July, 2013, in India.
Seeing an increasing demand of affordable stylish cars, the company has decided to launch the same in the country. It has decided that the car won't cost more than Rs.4 Lakh. Datsun debuted in Japan in1932 and continued to hit American showrooms for 50 years. But, then it discontinued in the year 1981, to unify the lineup under Nissan brand.
The Head of Datsun quoted that it would bring competitive services and at the same time, it would ensure superior value and a high growth in markets for the Middle Class. It would be developed under the supervision of the Nissan engineers. The company is going to unveil its “small car” on July 15. This car is said to compete the car like Maruti A-Star, WagonR, Hyundai i10 etc.
