When is Honda Going to Launch Amaze Diesel in India?
Honda will launch the entry-level sedan Honda Amaze in India around April 2013.The all new 2013 Honda Amaze is powered by a 1500cc 1.5 liter i-DTEC diesel powertrain especially designed for India. This 4-cylinder diesel engine is a lower version of Honda’s 1.6-litre diesel engine sold in Europe by Honda.
This i-DTEC diesel engine is likely to produce a peak power in the range of 90 - 100 bhp with a peak torque in the range of 200 - 210 Nm. Honda Amaze diesel will offer an impressive mileage of 15 to 16kmpl on the city roads and 19 to 22 kmpl on the highways. The overall dimensions stands at 3990mm x 1680mm x 1485mm as length x width x height respectively.
The ground clearance is 150mm and wheel base is of 2405mm. Other features loaded are high strength narrow crankshaft, vertically mounted intercooler, an aluminum block and lightweight pistons.
