What Safety Features are there in Maruti Alto K10?

The facelift version of Maruti's best seller, Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 gets some decent safety features. They include central locking, child locks on the rear door, improved braking mechanism, key off reminder and much more. The collapsible steering column protects during collision and it also comes equipped with an engine immobilizer. The high mounted stop lamps also increase the visibility and the side impact beams prevents the hatch from scratches. It does lack advanced safety features such as ABS, EBD and airbags.

The hatchback comes blessed with the same 13” tubeless tyres. The exteriors are made elegant and stylish. The  headlamps and the tail lamps are altered and the body colored bumpers enhance its looks. The overall length of the car is 3620 mm and it has got a minimum turning radius of 4.6 meters. The total ground clearance stands at 160 mm and the kerb weight measures 760 Kg. All in all, it is fuel economical, has bright exteriors but the safety features could be more.
