What Safety Features are there in Honda City?

The all new Honda City comes equipped with many safety features, which include dual front SRS airbags, a combo of Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and the active headrest for the front passenger to prevent injuries. The G-CON structure protects the occupants from the accident and the read defogger is pretty much helpful in winters. The crumple zones add a bit more to the safety. The protective pretensioner seat belt and the limiting force control seat belt arrangement protects the passengers from impact. It has also taken care of the pedestrians, by providing front fender, front windshield support, engine hood hinges and the front grille.

The front disc brakes and the rear drum brakes offer a good and powerful braking system. The ABS along with the EBD provide more safety with instant safety. For a better driving, a rack and pinion system is fitted in the sedan and a coil suspension system is used at the rear. It comes with a 1.5 L powerful i-VTEC engine which returns a decent mileage of 16.8 km/l, in case of manual transmission and 15.6 km/l, along with the auto transmission. According to the critics, the round figure is that it has a fuel economy of 14 km/l in town and 17 km/l on the highways.
