What is the Waiting Period for Ford EcoSport Diesel?

The waiting period of the mini SUV Ford EcoSport was six months in the beginning but due to excessive demand, it is extended up to 8 months now.

Ford EcoSport diesel was unveiled in 2012 Auto-Expo in Delhi, which created an immediate stir in the SUV market in India. And EcoSport was launched in India on 26th June, 2013. It is powered by a 1498cc DV5 diesel engine which provides a maximum torque of 90bhp@3750rpm and a maximum torque of 204Nm@2000rpm. It is done in order to give driver a bit of extra time so that he can accelerate smoothly without rolling. Its boot space is 346 liters and it has disk break in front and drum breaks in the rear section. Dimensions of the Ford EcoSport are 3999mmX1765mmX1708mm and the kerb weight is 1272 kilograms. Anti-lock Breaking System, 3 point seat belts in the front and 3 seat belts in the rear and emergency brake hazard warning system like features are equipped in order to ensure safety of the people traveling. It is available in the market in Mars Red, Diamond White, Kinetic Blue, Moondust Silver, Chill Metallic, Panther Black and Sea Grey at a price of INR 7,39000.
