Mahindra Quanto is a 4 metre compact SUV that is one of the newest launched by Mahindra for 2012-13 season. Quanto has four variants in the market, C2, C4, C6 and C8 with the base model C2 has price INR 5.82 lakhs while top variant C8 is being priced at INR 7.36 lakhs. This SUV has somewhat similar features in exterior as of Mahindra Xylo with the exception of its lined bonnet and a spare wheel at the rear. This car has also the same sitting capacity as Xylo for five people with the additional luxury of having two jump seats in the rear and even when they are folded, it still provides a solid boot capacity of 690 litres.

It has a good three cylinder 1.5L diesel engine which cries a maximum power of 100bhp at 3750rpm and maximum torque of 240Nm at 1600-2800rpm with a five speed manual gearbox while easily crossing the top speed of over 150kmph.

It goes 0-100kmph in more than 17 seconds while giving an excellent fuel mileage of 14-15kmpl in cities. It has top quality safety features with great handling and improved suspension while maintaining a warranty of 2 years or 50,000kms. Mahindra Quanto is available in six vibrant colors, Rocky Beige, Toreador Red, Mist Silver, Diamond White, Fiery Black and Java Brown.
