Honda Unleashes Diesel Amaze Sedan at a price tag of Rs. 5.99 lakh (Ex- Showroom, Delhi).
On Thursday, Honda introduced its first ever diesel car, “The Amaze”, an entry-level sedan. This car is available in 6 variants and will be priced at Rs. 5.99 to 7.60 lakh. The Honda Amaze Sedan will compete with market leader “Dzire sedan” of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. The Honda Amaze Sedan has a mileage of 25.8 km per liter and a 2 year or 40,000 kilometer warranty and a maintenance package for 2 years or 40,000 kilometer, whichever is earlier, and the costs for the diesel variant is Rs.15,375.
The diesel variant of this car is a iDTEC Earth Dreams 1.5 liters four cylinder engine which is being said to be developed with the much hyped EarthDreams 1.6 liters four cylinder engine that powers the European CRV and Civic.
