Mahindra Scorpio VLX comes in both rear wheel and all wheel drive options. The former weighs about 2510 Kg. While, the latter weighs about 100 Kg more.

The SUV comes equipped with a 2.2L mHawk engine which is a four potted one and gets to 60 km/h from standstill in just 5.7 seconds. It delivers a max power of 120 bhp, which is something commendable. Mahindra Scorpio VLX comes fitted with a sophisticated audio system which features Bluetooth connectivity. The steering wheel has stereo controls mounted over it, for telephony. In  the front, it comes with Blue Vision headlamps which offer better visibility during worse weather conditions. The SUV comes packed with Anti-Lock Braking System which helps in panic braking and the Crash Crumple Zone reduces the impact of collisions on the sides.

The seats are upholstered with high quality fabric and are fire retardant. The steering column is collapsible and the tyres fitted are tubeless. The fog lamps fitted are given a new look and the alloy wheels make it look sturdy and the spoiler at the back gets the high mount stop lamp. All in all, the SUV is great, but the suspension could be better.
