This tiny car is an on-road competitor for the Tata Nano. This A Segment car is likely to have a fuel consumption of around 35 km/l on the highways and 24 km/l on the crowded city roads. It comes powered with a petrol engine, delivering a max power of 20 bhp. The 4 potted DTSi engine has a power to weight ratio of 419.
The overall length is 2752 mm and is just 17650 mm high. It has a seating capacity of 4 people and has a reasonable boot space of 44 liters. The kerb weight is 400 Kg and it does not have power steering. Its just a basic car with manual driver seat adjustment system and 2 rear seat belts. It does not come fitted with an audio system and is claimed to have a top speed of 70 km/h. It will initially be available in petrol only, but Bajaj is also working on a CNG variant too. It was unveiled back on 3rd January 2012 and is the most awaited vehicle until now.
