Renault Lodgy is the first MPV to be launched by the company in India. Taking care of the current players in the MUV market, Renault have priced the car in a more economical way, giving a lot of options to the buyers in the form of engine options and various trims. The Renault Lodgy seems to be massive from its looks and so it is in terms of space provision inside the vehicle.

The vehicle gets two seating options. If you wish for a total luxury drive, 7-seater is the best option as the 2nd row also gets the captain seats in that option. Spacing in the third row is very nicely managed, but with the increase in the ride height at the back, the height of the legroom is partially affected. Armrest has been provided in the front. The boot space without affecting the seat position is 207 litres whereas by folding the third row 589 litres of boot space is available to the passengers. A super cool option of detaching the 3rd row seating is also available. After that a massive 759 litre compartment is obtained, which is quiet large for normal use.

The 1st engine option is 85PS version, producing 83.8 BHP and 200 NM of torque. This version comes with a 5 speed manual transmission. The 2nd engine option is 110PS version producing 108 BHP and 245 NM of torque. This version is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox. The price of this new MPV starts from INR 8,19,000-11,79,000.
