What are the Engine Specifications of Hyundai i20?

The all new incarnated Hyundai i20 comes in over three engine options, out of which two are petrol mills and one is diesel power train.

The petrol one comes powered by a 1.2L Kappa engine which manages to deliver a peak power of 82.9 bhp at 5200 rpm and a beating torque of 113.7 Nm at mere 4000 rpm. It features the Variable Timing Valve Train Mechanism, which considerable boosts up the mileage, standing at 18.5 km/l. The one mated with the automatic transmission offer a great power of 98.6 bhp at 5500 rpm and an impressive peak torque of 136.3 Nm at the rate of just 4200 rpm.

When it comes to the diesel  mill, it comes packed with a 1.4L engine featuring the CRDi technology to enhance and improve the performance. It also comes hooked with the Hydraulic Lash Adjusters technology and requires low maintenance. It even offers less NVH at higher speeds. All in all, the hatch is stylish and more spacious. The interiors are classy but its a little pricey.
