The new Hyundai Verna comes in two different types of engines. One is a 1.4L and other is 1.6L one. They are available in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol 1.4L engine comes packed with a 1396cc engine, which has four cylinders.

The max power delivered is 107 PS at 6300 rpm and a peak torque of 13.8 Kgm at the rate of 5000 rpm. On the contrary, the 1.4L diesel engine has the same specifications but the outputs differ a lot. It manages to return a decent power of 90 PS at 4000 rpm and a max torque of 22.43 Kgm at the rate of 1750-2750 rpm. The third variant, that is the 1.6L petrol engine comes mated with both, manual as well as automatic transmission gearboxes.

Hyundai Verna Fluidic has a displacement capacity of 1591 cc and is a 4potted petrol mill. The max power churned out is 123.05 PS at 6300 rpm and the peak torque conveyed is 15.8 Kgm at mere 4200 rpm. The 1.6L diesel power train has a displacement capability of 1582 cc and produces a max power of 128.08 PS at 4000 rpm. The max torque churned out is 26.50 Kgm at the rate of 2750 rpm.
