This turbocharged 2498 cc engine, is mated with a 5 speed manual speed transmission for a better performance.

The other variant has a DI engine, which is 2523 cc. It also comes with the 5 – speed manual gearbox with a high ratio 1.0:1 and a lower ratio 2.46:1. Besides this, one also has a choice to choose between 2WD and 4WD drive, with the latter engine.

This engine is considered the best in this category. The engine itself assures a better performance and a comfortable ride on bumpy roads and on different terrains. The engine is somewhat traditional, while the powerful mighty DI engine has been used before in Mahindra Balero. Off-roading becomes much more easy and interesting, when you have this powerful jeep.
