In How Many Variants Mahindra Thar is Available?

Mahindra Thar, a powerful gypsy in the Indian Market, is available in three variants, namely, DI 4X2, CRDe 4X4 and DI 4X4.

The 'DI 4X2' variant is only compatible with the city roads and is with Bharat Stage III norms., while the CRDe 4X4 model comes with Bharat Stage IV norms. The off-roader Mahindra Thar comes in two different engines – DI and CRDe. The CRDe turbocharged engine comes hooked with the 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. It has the power to displace 2498 cc. This engine manages to offer a bulky power  of 105 bhp at the rate of 3800 rpm and a maximum torque of 247 Nm at 1800-2000 rpm. The capacity of the DI variant is 2523 cc and this engine further comes in two variants – 4WD and 2WD.

The masculine engine performs well and assures a safe and powerful drive even on worse conditions. It also comes with the tubeless tyres which cover the huge 16” alloy wheels. The other features include power steering, compact size, low turning radius etc.
