Volvo C40 Recharge has been launched in India, and its deliveries have also started. The electric coupe-SUV is priced at Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The C40 Recharge is being offered in a single fully-loaded variant.

That's because this second Volvo C40 battery is an auxiliary power supply for your vehicle's fuel-saving start/stop feature. It functions by automatically turning off the engine when you come to a stop, and it is a standard feature on the majority of new Volvo automobiles.

The Volvo C40 Recharge has lots of soft-touch surfaces. Volvo made the dash panel coverings, leatherette and microsuede upholstery with contrast stitching and piping, all from recycled PET bottles. The carpets in charcoal or Fjord blue are also made from recycled materials.

The C40 Recharge has an autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system which can respond to vulnerable road users as well as to other vehicles. The Volvo C40 advanced  features make it more comfortable and safe.

The purely electric vehicles, the 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge and 2023 Volvo XC40 Recharge, are small crossover SUVs with dual-motor all-wheel drive and range estimates of 223 miles (XC40) and 226 miles (C40) on a full battery charge.
