The Stile LE 7 Seater was manufactured at the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s facility outside Chennai, the same plant where the Nissan Evalia was produced. This collaboration helped in leveraging existing manufacturing capabilities. I think this was a smart move to keep production costs in check.

Ashok Leyland had plans to introduce a CNG variant of the Stile, but it never materialized due to various reasons. The company had initially announced this plan along with the launch of the diesel version. It would have been interesting to see how the CNG variant would have performed in the Indian market.
