Not many people will be interested in buying a Yamaha R125 when a Pulsar 220F is available at a same or a lesser price. (ii) Globally, the 125cc bikes are learner motorcycles. You don't need a licence to ride them. However, in India you need a licence to even ride a 100cc motorcycle. (iii) Premium 125cc bikes might cause product cannibalism.
