The Tesseract delivers its most distinguishing feature through radar-based ADAS technology that provides blind spot detection together with lane change assist and overtake warnings and collision alerts. The electric powertrain of the Ultraviolette Shockwave includes features such as regenerative braking and traction control which are absent in most ICE bikes. Electric bikes from ICE provide longer operating distance and simpler recharging methods than electric vehicles.

The Ultraviolette Shockwave incorporates modern electronic systems which include:

The Shockwave shows its rally bike design inspiration through its slim purposeful construction. The Ultraviolette Shockwave represents India's initial dual-purpose electric motorcycle legal for street use. This electric motorcycle offers street-legal off-road performance through its steel frame construction and vertically arranged LED headlights and spoke wheels and extended suspension travel of 200 mm front and 180 mm rear. With a wheel torque output of 505 Nm the Shockwave reaches 120 km/h speeds and reaches 60 km/h in only 2.9 seconds through its 14.5 bhp electric motor. This bike includes important features which include dual-channel ABS that can be switched and traction control and regenerative braking capabilities.

Among Ola S1 Pro and Ather 450X the Tesseract offers superior capabilities through its ADAS system with radar and dual dashcam installation in addition to haptic controls along with enhanced ride analysis capabilities. Its 125 km/h maximum speed together with its fast acceleration make this electric vehicle lead other models in terms of performance.

The Tesseract operates with a 20.1 bhp motor capable of reaching 125 km/h as its top speed. Its performance stands out among electric scooters because it reaches 60 km/h from standstill in only 2.9 seconds. The 6 kWh version of the Ultraviolette Tesseract provides 261 km of IDC range between single charges which makes it suitable for city use and extended rides.

Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition comes equipped with three removable lithium-ion battery packs that measure 4.2kWh in total and allow the F77 to cover 150km on a full charge in urban conditions.

The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition comes with a built-in 1kw AC charger which plugs into your household three-point power socket. The claimed full charge time is 5 hours. A 3kW DC fast charger will be offered as an option and the brand claims full charge can be achieved in just 1.5 hours. It needs a 15 amp socket and would cost an additional Rs 20,000. And the final option is a “Home Charging Pod” which can hold upto three battery packs. You can simply remove the battery packs from the motorcycle and charge them at home on the pods. To further reduce range anxiety, Ultraviolette will also be selling the battery packs separately.

You need no license or registration in India for scooters that have their top speed capped at 25km per hour or has a motor of 250W or lower. However, the Ultraviolette F77 is powered by a 32000W Motor and the top speed is around 152 kmph, thus requiring license and registration.
