Kawasaki has not yet announced a launch date for its cruiser Vulcan S in India. If launched soon, it would be the first cruiser motorcycle from Kawasaki, directly competing with Hyosung ST7 and Harley Davidson Street 750. The Vulcan S will be using the same engine as ER-6N, Ninja 650 and Versys 650 but carrying a different state of tune. It produces 61 BHP and 63 Nm of torque. Vulcan S comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will be getting an estimated price tag of INR 6,00,000.

The gearbox on the GV650 is a 5-speed unit and it gets a top speed of 195 kmph. The bike takes 8.5 seconds for a 0-100 kmph run and returns a mileage of 15 kmpl. The front wheel gets double hydralic disc brakes measuring 300 mm and the rear has a 270 mm single disc brake. The Hyosung GV650 is priced at a better point with the ex-showroom price being INR 4,99,000.
