The Apache 160 is much better than the V15. It more powerful, quicker and agile. The 160 cc engine displaces an extra 10cc, and produces a power of 15 bhp @ 8500 rpm and a torque of 13 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The horse power of the Apache 160 is higher than the V15 by 4 bhp. But coming to mileage, the V15 obviously fares better as it retunrs 75 KMPL compared to the Apache's 60 KMPL.

Bajaj V claims a good mileage figure and no doubt, the company again claims that it can return 50 kmpl from its 150 cc engine. You can see if the bike is being ridden in high traffic, it will return less mileage as compared to the same kilometers on the highway. Driving on 45 and driving on 80 can even reduce the mileage by a considerable amount. If you feel your driving nature is getting between you and the mileage, you can have a change and recheck the same. If not, then visiting your nearest showroom and asking them for a check is the best option.

Well, the Bajaj V15 can be both – a single seater, and a two seater.
Confused? Well, here’s how.
When you buy the V15, Bajaj provides a free rear seat cowl which replaces the passenger portion of the seat with an aesthetic looking piece of plastic, effectively making a the bike a single seater. Here’s an image of the V15 with a seat cowl, which will give you clearer picture.
However, the rear seat cowl can be removed anytime.
