| Hero Impulse is a multi-purpose motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp, carrying a mind blowing ground clearance of 245 mm. The bike comes with front 90/90-19 wheel while the rear measures 110/90-17 on the Impulse. The 149.2cc, air cooled engine on the motorcycle is good for 13 BHP at 7500 rpm and 13.4 Nm at 5000 rpm. It comes with a seat height of 835 mm while the body weighs 134 kg with a full fuel tank. The top speed is rated at 115 kmph while the Impulse rivals no other motorcycle in its segment. | Yamaha Lander XTZ 250 is a quarter liter off-road motorcycle that comes with a ground clearance of 275 mm. It seems more effective than a typical SUV in terms of its clearance, saving the same from rocks and others obstacles in its way. The 249.45cc, single cylinder engine is good for 20.7 BHP at 8000 rpm and 20.49 Nm at 6500 rpm. It weighs just 143 kg and carries a seat height of 875 mm. It would be tough for riders with average heights to climb up to the high seat. It rivals Honda CRF250L and other off-road bikes internationally. The only Indian bike that looks close to the competition is RE Himalayan. | 2023 Honda NXR 160 Bros is an entry level pure off-road bike with an amazing ground clearance of 247 mm. It comes with a ride height of 842 mm, making it difficult for short riders to control the same in heavy traffic. The motorcycle is powered by a 162.7cc, single cylinder engine producing 14.6 BHP and 14.41 Nm of torque. It uses a 12 liter fuel tank and weighs just 120 kg. The motorcycle is still away from the Indian launch and would have successfully rivaled Hero Impulse. It could get a price tag of around INR 90,000 if launched in India. | |
