MAXABOUT RATING AND OVERVIEW

Vehicle Overview
Yamaha Fazer V1.0 was recently discontinued due to poor sales as the second version was selling well from the Yamaha lineup. The motorcycle was powered by a 153cc, single cylinder engine producing 13.8 BHP and 13.6 Nm of torque. It claimed a top speed of 118 kmph and used a carburetor for fuel supply. The motorcycle weighs 141 kg while the new version tips the scale at just 137 kg. Fazer V2.0 also comes with fuel injection and returns a better fuel efficiency than the older version. When on sale, it rivaled none other than Bajaj Pulsar 220F due to similarity in body styling.Yamaha Fazer Fi is the semi faired version of Yamaha FZ series, carrying a design which makes it aerodynamically more efficient on the highway than its naked cousin. Fazer Fi is even the most affordable semi faired motorcycle with fuel injection and rivals Suzuki Gixxer SF, Pulsar 220F and TVS Apache RTR 200 in its price segment.Yamaha Fazer 250, the faired motorcycle is purely based on FZ25, carrying the same 249cc, fuel injected engine producing 20.69 BHP and 20 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle was first expected with a dual headlight design but soon, spy shots of the same carrying a single headlight started arriving. Fans are disappointed up to some extent as Fazer series was known for its amazing design while practicality can even be achieved from the current design. Both the quarter liter motorcycles (FZ25 and Fazer 25) carry INR 10,000 of price difference and exactly identical yet highly practical frame under their visible body types.
