This is an amazing bike perfect for any type of rider. Unfortunately, there is no showroom near us, so we cannot purchase another. However, this bike is incredibly smooth to drive and is easy to handle. The seating is incredibly comfortable and the mileage is quite good. In short, this bike offers an excellent combination of mileage, comfort, and pickup. I highly recommend it!

Back in December 2005, my father purchased a secondhand LML Freedom DX. It had just been out of the showroom, having only travelled 600km, and was manufactured in December 2004. Fast-forward 13 years and my bike has covered a total of 48000km - I use it every day, travelling 25km on average. At the time, the Freedom DX was the hottest bike on the Indian market, and it still looks great after all this time. The shock absorbers were fantastic when I first got it, though they don't work as well these days. Despite this, it's still a comfortable ride and it has quite a bit of power - although it only averages 45km per litre. Its maintenance costs are low, and parts are still available, though not as readily as for other models. The sad thing is that there are no Freedom service centres in my area, and the resale value is low due to lack of demand. But for everyday use, it's a great family bike and I'm glad to have it.

LML, Lohia Machinery Limited has recently re-launched its most popular commuter bike - Freedom, with some changes and modifications and it will be available in all the dealerships in India soon. It was only released in Delhi first and then the company is trying to focusing on Punjab, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
The exterior of LML Freedom is somewhat changed but is not altogether different than its earlier version and it can still be identified by a quick glance. It has new halogen bulb headlamp and newer visor, dual toned color scheme; silencer with chrome guard, electric start as well as kick, black painted engine, side stand with gear lock, dynamic dipper, black powder coated front forks, 18-inch black alloy wheels and a new tail lamp.
The instrument console of new LML Freedom has also seen some changes as it has now an analogue fuel gauge and speedometer along with a low fuel indicator. The new LML Freedom has a length of 2010mm, width of 725mm and height of 1080mm as its dimension and has a kerb weight of 119kgs, good ground clearance of 165mm, large wheelbase of 1235mm and a fuel tank capacity of 12.5L.
The new LML Freedom has a 109.15cc, Air-cooled, four stroke, single cylinder, two valve engine with a maximum power of 8.5 bhp at 7750 rpm and a maximum torque of 8.5 Nm at 5000 rpm and has a four speed constant mesh manual gearbox transmission. It has a top speed of 95 kmph with a bore and stroke of 53mm and 49.5mm respectively, Keihin PB18 type carburettor, unique T-control tubular type chassis, a 12V and 2.5Ah battery, multiple-oil-bath type clutch, a 12V DC horn, C.D.I ignition and a mileage of 65kmpl. It has mechanically expanding shoe type drum brakes in both its wheels.
The suspension system is a hydraulic telescopic fork with 100mm stroke at front and adjustable 5-step chrome plated helical springs at rear. For the comfort of the rider and the pillion, it has good and wide seat with nice sitting posture, a raised handlebar with good grip and footrest at good positions.
The new LML Freedom is available in two variants which are DX with the price of INR 49,410 and LS with the price of INR 49,950. It is available in five beautiful shades which includes Blue, Black, Beige, Silver and Red. It comes with a warranty of 2 years or 30,000kms whatever comes earlier. Overall, it is an average commuter with not so stylish features and a little overpriced in the light of its features. Thus, it misses as a complete value for money bike because there are other commuters in market that provide a lot more features in this price range.

good bike,i had previously splendor, which i bought when it was launched, then after 5 yrs i sold for other option, but could not find then again i`ve two go for splendor, after 4 yrs i again sold it and was searching for newer option, time came when world cup 2004 lml freedom was the sponcer after looking into its features iam still enjoying yhe ride yet after 9 yrs.i`ve no problem in buying spares, friends also envy, they r waiting for the re launch of freedom.
When they will reintroduce LML Adreno and Energy? These two bike were giving mileage to LML but they stopped and turned to Freedom and Graptor. Though these were stylish, could not make profits for LML(?)
I own an LML Freedom and I personally feel that this bike is one of the best products from LML. I have been riding it for the past 8 yrs and till now I have never faced any serious maintenance issues. Riding comfortability is better than its couter parts, but lacks the extra thrust. Anyway its a good commuter bike who gives priority to comfortability.
