Vijaya Bikes is a company that manufactures bicycles and other related products. It was founded in India in the year 1983 by Mr. S.S. Vijaya Kumar, an IIT graduate, with an initial investment of Rs. 1 lakhs and with a vision to manufacture bicycles for the Indian market.
The company has grown from strength to strength over the years and it now has four manufacturing units in the country - one each at Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and New Delhi - with a total production capacity of 3 million cycles per annum.
