Bajaj Auto is a major Indian automobile manufacturer. It is world's 4th largest two- and three-wheeler maket. It is based in Pune, Maharashtra, with plants in Akurdi and Chakan (Pune), Waluj (near Aurangabad) and Pantnagar in Uttaranchal. Bajaj Auto makes and exports motorscooters, motorcycles and the auto rickshaw.

They are now planning to enter the car market and also displayed a small car concept at 2008 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The Small Car is expected to hit the market in 2011.
