Toyota Prado is a rugger and solid SUV, which was launched in India in 2004 and recently the company introduced fourth generation Prado which seems to be a good mix of luxury, comfort and performance. It has a gigantic look with its ten spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, huge wheel arches, big roof rails and side floor boards. It has as chrome finished front grille with angular headlights and big bonnet. Also the front bumper includes a stylish air dam and circular fog lights and in the rear, it gives a new definition to style with its clear lens tail lights and its in-built spoiler with small split boot gate. On the inside, it sports all-black theme and black seats with above average plastic quality but is highly spacious and can provide enough space and comfort for six persons with ample head room, shoulder room and leg room.

It also has a spacious silver accent black colored dashboard with a trendy central console and has a great boot capacity which can be increased by folding the rear seats. It has a quality audio system with the features of six CD changer, MP3, radio, USB and AUX-in ports with Bluetooth connectivity. Toyota Prado has a powerful 2982cc 3.0L D-4D diesel engine which gives a maximum power of 170 bhp at 3400 rpm and a maximum torque of 410 Nm at 1600 rpm and is equipped with a five speed automatic gearbox.
Toyota Prado takes 10 seconds to reach 0-100 mark and has the top speed of above 180 kmph and has an impressive off-road competency with its Hill start and Downhill Assist Control and Adaptive Traction Control System. Because of its size and engine, it gives a mileage of 9-10kmpl on highways and 7-8kmpl in the cities. It also has a solid body frame with vehicle stability control and seven SRS airbags for safety of its passengers. This SUV has a good suspension quality with disk brakes on the all the four wheels, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist. It has a minimum turning radius of 5.8m which makes it a comfy ride in the crowded cities and has a ground clearance of 220mm with broad tyres to give you perfect handling on any type of road. It has a length of 4760mm, 1885mm of width and 1880mm of height as its dimension.
Toyota Prado comes in only one variant which is Toyota Prado D4-D Diesel and have five beautiful shades in market which are Silver Metallic, Greyish Blue Metallic, Black, Grey Metallic and White Pearl CS. It comes with a warranty of 3 years or 100000 kms whatever comes earlier. Overall, this SUV is a perfect blend of style, class, luxury, performance, speed, comfort and safety with only a little drawback of having a little steep price of INR 61.16 lakhs (approx., may vary) but it can be undermined by its features, comfort and warranty that its providing.
