The Mercedes CLS-Class has the exterior dimensions of a Coupe` and hence depicts a very stylish and sophisticated exterior. The styling is a visible blend of the charisma and style of saloon and coupe` at one place. The diamond lattice grille in atlas grey and the L-shaped headlamps along with the LED headlamps are indeed some of the striking features. The front bumper’ air intakes add a hint of power to the front of the car. The exterior mirrors, arrow-shaped direction indicators and the exhaust tail pipes are very distinctive features of the car. The interior is done very lavishly in such a manner that it will come up to the expectations of both the driver and passengers. The leather clad steering wheel and the gear knob give a very aesthetic feel. The instrument cluster has white dials and a very illuminated appearance. The interior comes in four color ranges and wood varieties and two combination packages.
The luxury of the car is reflected from both its driving modes and its interior. The AIRMATIC DC is a dual controlling system that maintains an adaptive mechanism in different driving styles through air suspension system. The COMAND application for multi-function controls, Parktronic for parking aid, Keyless entry system, automatic climate control and electronic seat adjustments are also present. The safety features of the Mercedes CLS-Class include ESP and BAS for efficient stability and traction control. The Adaptive Brake braking system monitors acceleration and controls any over-speed situation. The lights and visibility of the car are very much enhanced with cornering lights, bi-xenon headlamps and Active Alert System.
