Mercedes has given mid-life facelift to the C-Class Sedan and the 2012 C-Class has been launched in India. The new model was unveiled at the 81st Geneva Auto Show. The New Mercedes C-Class is going to be a legend in its class. It is destined to make a difference in the sedan class. The Mercedes C-Class has the body of a saloon and possesses the same amount of strength and speed for an exhilarating driving experience. The exterior of the car is adorned with very grand and elegantly done radiator grille on the front which is chrome finished. The bumpers and side trims along with the waistline trim and boot lid handle all are the standard exterior styling composites. The interior of the car is very comfortable and driver-oriented. The seats are ergonomically designed and fitted with lumbar supports for maximum amount of ease and comfort for the driver.
The dynamic safety systems of the Mercedes C-Class car are built to provide maximum amount of protection and safety to the driver and passengers on the road. ESP, Brake Assist and BAS sensors detect any kind of abnormal steering wheel moments, acceleration changes and spin over or roll over. Hence this provides a stable drive. The automatic tensioning of front seats, automatic repositioning of the front passenger seats, and the automatic closure of the windows and the tilting of sun roof all are the protective measures in case of danger.

The 1.8 litre, inline-4 cylinder petrol engine generates maximum power of 186 bhp at 5600 rpm with maximum torque of 285 Nm at 2400 rpm. The diesel engine has displacement of 2.2 litre inline- 4 cylinder, which generates maximum power of 204 bhp at 4200 rpm and maximum torque of 500 Nm of torque at 1600 rpm.
