The price of Ford Ecosport is expected to vary from Rs.6,50,000-Rs.9,50,000.

Its perhaps the best looking Sports Utility Vehicle in a budget of Rs.7-10 Lakhs. It will be a sub 4 meter car, that is almost the size of mid range hatches. It is likely to compete Mahindra Quanto, but seems far better than it. Its mouthwatering interiors resemble a lot from the all new Fiesta and the instruments are illuminated with blue LED, which make it look luxurious.

The overall appearance of the SUV is good and looks very balanced.  It grabs in many comfort features such as power windows, an efficient air conditioner, then heater, comfortable head and leg room and electrically adjustable and foldable outside mirrors. It has beautiful edgy AC vents and a eye pleasing dashboard. It is powered with a 999cc 3 potted engine, which delivers 118 bhp of max power, with an unbeatable torque of 170 Nm. The 1.0L Ecoboost engine is much better than the 1.6L petrol one, in terms of outputs. It easily gives away about 20 km/l on the rushed city roads.

Having a great ground clearance, it has 550 mm of water wading capability. The boot space is 346 liters, and about 705 liters, with the rear seats folded. It is likely to be the first choice of the SUV freaks looking for “not much expensive” SUV.
