What are the Variants of Maruti WagonR?

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is available in three basic variants, namely, LX, Lxi, and Vxi.

The all new facelift version of the Maruti Wagon R comes powered with a 1.0L engine, which has a displacement capacity of 998 cc and is smartly mated with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. Its an aluminum light weight engine, which easily delivers 68 PS at the rate of 6200 rpm and a max torque of 90 Nm at 3500 rpm.

The Vxi variant is the high end variant with a number of addons such as electrical ORVMs, Dual SRS airbags, ABS, a security system and outside body colored door panels etc. The Vxi variant with the CNG mode produces 59.3 PS of max power at 6200 rpm and a peak torque of 77 Nm at the rate of 3500 rpm. In terms of mileage delivery, the CNG variant is better. It takes just 15.9 seconds to reach 100.

It is claimed to have a top speed of 148 km/h. The petrol trim manages to deliver about 14.2 km/l in the city and 18.9 km/l on the highways. On the contrary, the CNG can grab a mileage of 15.5 km/kg on the crowded city roads and 20.2 km/kg on highways. The petrol one has a fuel tank capacity of 35 liters, while the CNG variant can hold about 60 liters of gas.
