BMW 3 Series has all in all 4 variants, powered with two different engines, two with petrol and two with diesel. The 320i variant has an unbeatable 1995 cc petrol engine producing a bulky power of 115KW at 6400 rpm and a peak torque @ 200 Nm. On the contrary, the other petrol variant, that is the 330i, delivers as much as 190KW of max power at 6600 rpm and 300 Nm of topmost torque of 300 Nm at the rate of 2500-4000 rpm. The diesel variant of this luxury machine, 320D returns a power of 130KW at 4000 rpm and a beating torque of 350Nm at 1750-3000 rpm.

It's the Corporate Edition and the Highline, available in the diesel options. Both the engines perform equally good, after all it's the “BMW”. But if you have the habit to roam around, then you should opt for diesel. If you are concerned about performance, then you ought to admit, that the petrol engine gets a clean chit.
