	Mahindra Bolero is a raunchy powerful four wheeler in the SUV segment. It has enjoyed a good run in India. Being a performer it comes with a 2523 cc Diesel engine which gives out a maximum power of 62 bhp @ 3200 rpm and a maximum torque of 195 Nm @ 1400-2200 rpm. Bolero Diesel has a claimed mileage of 15.96 kmpl which is quite decent for this segment. It has a ground clearance of 180 mm and a boot space of 460 litres. Over the past decade it has always been compared to TATA Sumo with same performance parameters.	Mahindra Thar Diesel CRDe 4x4 is a great buy being a sport + off-road SUV with a rustic appeal and decent styling. It comes with a powerful 2498cc engine giving out a power of 105 BHP @ 3800 rpm and 247 Nm @ 1800-2000 rpm with a good mileage of 16.55 kmpl. In this segment Mahindra Thar is in direct competition with Maruti Gypsy and Force Motors Gurkha.	Gurkha Diesel Hard Top 4x4 is a powerful SUV from Force Motors, placed in the sturdy vintage SUV segment. It is powered by a 2596cc engine which generates a maximum power of 80.9 bhp @ 3200 rpm and gives out a maximum torque of 230 Nm @ 1800 rpm. The SUV has a ground clearance of 210 mm and has a 63 litres fuel tank. Gurkha Diesel has an old school look but it is a great choice in the 2500cc segment SUV at a price under INR 10 lakhs. The SUV is a rival to the likes of Mahindra Thar in the segment.
