Over the past decade it has always been compared to TATA Sumo with same performance parameters. | Mahindra Thar Diesel CRDe 4x4 is a great buy being a sport + off-road SUV with a rustic appeal and decent styling. It comes with a powerful 2498cc engine giving out a power of 105 BHP @ 3800 rpm and 247 Nm @ 1800-2000 rpm with a good mileage of 16.55 kmpl.
