Bajaj

Bajaj Auto is an Indian Auto Major, manufacturing scooters, motor bikes and auto rickshaws. It was started my Jamnalal Bajaj in 1930s in Rajasthan. Initially they were known as M/s Bachraj Trading Corporation Private Limited, when they started. The primary business was importing and reselling two and three wheelers until they obtained permission from Government of India in the year 1959 and eventually they became a public limited company in 1960. Bajaj three wheeler autos are famous and can be seen in most of the places in India. In 2007 they acquired 14.5% stakes in KTM Power Sports AG.
