Questions and Answers
What is the mileage of Yamaha YBR 125?
Yamaha YBR125 comes with a mileage of approximately 60 kmpl. The bike gets a 123 cc, air cooled motor producing 10.7 BHP and 10.4 NM of torque. The gearbox has been kept 4-speed and the bike gets a top speed of 100 kmph. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued from the Yamaha India lineup due to poor sales and the launch of Saluto, the new 125 cc commuter bike from Yamaha. The YBR 125 was offered in a drum brake variant whereas the new Saluto gets a disc brake variant also. Both the bikes take 6 seconds to reach 60 kmph from standstill. The YBR came with a price tag of INR 50,846.

User Reviews for Yamaha YBR
Performance
I purchased it around 11 years back. Though they claim 60-65 km mileage, I never got more than 50. Presently it is giving less than 30. It has run around 33000 km. But showroom people say, compression has become weak, and bore pistons are to be changed. Can it happen in 33000 km run? In the service center, there is so much rush that it is not possible to get the bike serviced within 7 days. Because of which, I have to depend on out side mechanics, who do not have sufficient knowledge.
Best Features: Maintenance cost is less
Pros: It is maintenance free bike. In last 11 years, I have hardly spent anything towards its maintenance.
Cons: Mileage is very poor. They claim 60, but I never got more than 45-50. Presently it is giving less than 30. Running is 33000 kms.
Yamaha YBR Comments
Using YBR 110 since 2.5 years. Best bike for city commuting. Low on maintenance.
Comfortable and perfect for daily usage....................
Compare to dream yuga,YBR is the best bike.
people who are using this bike or they know it personally the bike users , then it is appropriate to comment............ one of the best bike in 110cc with trusted crux engine giving 62+kmpl with very less maintenance, since it is an crux 106 cc engine you have to warm up engine 1 min in morning b4 starting it, try to use less clutch activities to get more mileage, over usage of clutch and accelerator will reduce mileage..... engine has trusted crux 10+years life + less maintenance cost of experience of using 2 years+ mileage is decent of 62+kmpl + quality of the bike with less vibration even in 90+kmph and riding pleasure is great in the price bracket.............. this bike is not getting enough sales due to false rumours and bad image of yamaha in mileage dept, this bike is perfect commuter bike...
