Yamaha RX 135 Review

One of the Most Loved Yamaha Bikes in India

Monday, June 16, 2014

Yamaha RX was one of those famous two wheeler motorcycles in India. It was first released in the year 1990 but its production was discontinued in 2009. This commuter was powered by a 132cc engine which generates a maximum power of 14 bhp at 7500 rpm. The two-stroke, single cylinder engine was mated to a four speed transmission which gives it an amazing power. The Yamaha RX had a fuel tank capacity of 10.5-litres along with oil capacity of 1.5-litres.

The RX had a length of 1960 mm, width of 741 mm and a weight of 100 Kg. The instrument panel was featured with an analogue speedometer and fuel gauge. The suspension duties were handled by telescopic fork at the front and swing arm at the back. The drum brakes were fitted in both the wheels in order to make the braking system strong and effective. The bike had a high ground clearance of 145 mm and a wheelbase of 1240 mm that makes it perfect for rough and tough conditions. It was fitted with 18-inch wheels that enhance the side profile of this commuter. Overall, it was a great bike from Yamaha.
