That 38.5 bhp figure is likely bullshit, i dont think that kind of power is possible for a 250cc single that to with a mileage of 33. I'm pretty sure it's unrealistic figure.

TVS Draken powered by the 249.2cc Short-Stroke, Liquid-cooled, Race Inspired engine with liquid-cooling. It can churns out 38.50 bhp of power at 12,000 rpm. The torque produced is 23 nm of torque at 9500 rpm. The bike is fuel efficient also as it gives you average of 33.3 km/l on ride.

In city you can expect 20kmpl mileage on ride and in highways it gives you 25kmpl in practical condition. The engine mated with 6 speed transmission. It can produce 77 x 53.5mm bore and stroke also.

It has a wheelbase of 1340 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. The TVS Draken runs on 95 octane fuel and is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The Draken produces 38.50 BHP of power at 12,000 RPM and 23 Nm of torque at 9500 RPM. The claimed mileage is 33.3 km/l.Feb 7, 2014

Everything about this concept is great except for the tank. It's really small and un-chiseled. 10L is very less. Hero Glamour being a 125cc vehicle has a 14L tank. Draken needs a tank capacity of at least 16L if not more. There are so many well designed bikes in the world eg. MV Agusta Brutale 800 Dragster, BMW Roadster Concept etc, TVS can most definitely take ideas from them and make the bike look unbeatable especially by redesigning the tank. Another point that TVS has to keep in mind is rider comfort. The seats should be plush and comfortable. They can also go for LED headlights rather than the conventional halogen. If anybody has doubts about the effectiveness of LED headlights kindly check out the Ducati Panigale. I hope TVS adds ABS into the bike as it is quite necessary on Indian roads. Most importantly I hope that TVS actually comes out with the Draken X-21.

Promising but TVS should also keep the touring bike fans n provide a variant with decent pillion seat and possibility of carrying some travel bits
