Royal Enfield User Reviews

There is nothing royal in Royal Enfield, On Sunday, May 14, 2023, at approximately 2:30 pm, we received got continental GT 650 delivered from Royal Enfield company store, with great anticipation However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we discovered that the bike was faulty and suffered damage within just an hour of its arrival. To our shock and dismay, the bike's silencer emitted smoke, misfired in the middle of the road, and abruptly came to a halt near PVR Juhu. Adding to the distress, the silencer also underwent a transformation, displaying a goldenish blue hue, indicating a significant problem. These defects not only compromise the bike's performance but also raise concerns about its safety and long-term durability. Upon immediately contacting your showroom representative from Juhu to report the issue, we were met with an unreasonable response. Instead of acknowledging the obvious manufacturing defect, we were baselessly blamed for allegedly overfilling the petrol tank. The subsequent interactions with your showroom representatives only further exacerbated our frustration. Despite multiple calls, we were provided with another ludicrous suggestion of blowing into the tank to release any excess air. Such baseless accusations are completely unacceptable and have severely undermined our confidence in your company. It is truly disheartening to receive such a response. We spent nearly two hours stranded on the road, feeling helpless and trying to understand the cause of the problem. Eventually, we were left with no choice but to take the bike to the service center, as the showroom representative informed us that they could not assist us any further. We firmly believe that the bike was delivered to us with a pre-existing fault, This transaction was not merely a financial investment; it was an emotional investment for myself, my husband, and our entire family

The Royal Enfield Hunter does lack some basic features that are generally seen in other bikes in its segment. There is the lack of a slipper clutch, no selectable torque assist, no rear tyre width options, a single piston rear disc caliper, no LED headlamps, no LED indicators, a skinny overall look, no tachometer, and a meter console that looks like a bell on a bicycle. This is a shame as other bikes in the segment have these features, which makes the Hunter a less attractive option.

The new Royal Enfield Hunter is designed to be an agile, maneuverable machine that is perfect for city riding. Its 20mm shorter wheelbase than the Classic 350, 17-inch wheels and wide handlebar all help it to feel light on its feet and make it a great option for navigating tight city roads. The pegs are slightly rear-set and the handlebar has a slight reach, making it a comfortable riding position with a hint of sportiness. The 790mm seat height also makes it suitable for shorter riders, but tall riders may find it a bit cramped. The Hunter also isn’t the most comfortable for pillion riders, as the seat is relatively small and the grab handles are positioned awkwardly.
Despite its relatively hefty 181kg weight, the Hunter is still quite a joy to ride. It turns in quickly and has good grip, making it great for winding roads. The motorcycle is also predictable and stable in the corners, which will be reassuring to new riders in this segment. Ultimately, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a great option for city riders who want a light, agile machine that is still capable of enjoying some spirited riding.

The Hunter is a great looking bike that will be sure to turn heads no matter where you go. The classic retro styling, with the round halogen headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, flat seat, small side panel with the Hunter branding and round tail-lamp, makes this bike look great. We tested the higher Metro variant in the Dapper Ash colour scheme which looks great on this bike. There is also the entry-level Retro variant on offer which gets simpler paint schemes and wire spoke wheels. The quality of the paint finish and the switchgear are very good considering the price point of the bike. All in all, the Hunter is an attractive and well-built bike that will surely make a statement wherever you go.

The buying experience wasn't great, to say the least. With no leg guard included and a thin rod for a back rest, it was really uncomfortable to ride. The ride was very jerky, especially when crossing 80 km/h and you could feel the parts vibrate and shake up to 120 km/h. The looks were okay, but the performance was well below average. Fuel efficiency was the only thing that was good, offering over 40 km/l for long-distance rides. Braking was not efficient for a bike of this size.
Servicing this bike was a nightmare. Post warranty, you would need to shell out more than 25k per year as nearly everything had to be changed after each service. Even the silencer came off easily if you were not careful.
Overall, the good looks and fuel efficiency were the only good things about this bike. Everything else was a con.

The experience of getting a key in the ignition, pumping the decompressor and then giving the kick start to the engine is truly amazing. The engine gives off a calming vibration and the feeling of excitement is immediately noticeable. Another unique element is the neutral finder which is so simple to use yet unheard of by many people, especially bikers.
My Electra is a bit of a hybrid, with an electric start (which I hardly use), front disc brakes and a decent engine. It's not too old nor too new, but somewhere in between. I love it when people check it out and ask about it, and I often get to tell them a piece of the old experience. It may not be as fast as the new bikes, but when the engine warms up after a ten-minute ride, it gives off better pickups and a lovely thump that feels like it's ready to run. The area I live in, is full of beautiful plains and hilly roads, some good, some bad and some worse. But it's a pleasure to ride on this beast, no matter the obstacles. If taken care of properly, it will take care of you back.

The Royal Enfield BULLET ELECTRA is a very common bike these days and I can understand why. It has a classic design that appeals to many people, and it does have a few advantages. For instance, it has a two-valve, four-stroke engine and three-speed gears, making it a decent option for those who want to ride quickly and safely.
However, there are a few downsides to the bike. The mileage is not great, as it only has two valves and four strokes. Additionally, it does not have many of the necessary features that newer generations of bikes come with, such as a rear disk brake, a fuel gauge, or a stand alert system.
Overall, the classic design of the BULLET ELECTRA is its biggest selling point. But if you're looking for a classic design with a 350cc engine and five-speed gears, I'd suggest going with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 instead. It has more features and is a much better bike overall.

The Royal Enfield engine lacks technical specifications and build quality, making it a poor choice for long drives. This is a waste of money and a foolish decision, as the engine produces irritating sounds and vibrations. It is not a bike, it is a sound machine.

The Royal Enfield Bullet Electra looks like a cruiser bike, thanks to its rugged body and huge tank, giving it an unmistakable identity on the roads. It has a unique seating position, which is why it's so comfortable and safe. The mileage is 53 kmpl, which is quite good for a 350cc bike. It has a powerful 350cc, twin spark engine, making it very reliable. The design of the Bullet Electra is also impressive. It isn't ostentatious, but it still has a regal feel to it. When you ride it, you'll be amazed at how it sticks to the road, no matter how fast you go. The price of the Bullet Electra is 1.18 lakhs, which is quite reasonable considering the quality of the bike.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a great bike with excellent sound, feel, handling, power, ABS and almost zero vibrations. It also has a moderately stiff rear suspension and basic halogen headlights, which is a slight downside. However, these negatives don’t take away from the overall experience and I would give the Meteor 350 four stars.
