Yamaha YZF-R25 Quarter-litre Sportsbike to get ABS in 2015

The popular name in bikes world, Yamaha released its sportsbike 'Yamaha R25' in Indonesia this year which is selling for 53 Million Indonesian Rupiah. Now, the company is planning to add new ABS feature to the bike. Benefits of safety feature ABS is not unkown by anyone am sure. But many of you don't knwo, that ABS feature in bikes is mandatory in Europe.

If reports are to be believed, Yamaha will soon launch this ABS featured R25 in India. But the company hasn't reveal any information regarding launch date. It might hit Indian market by the mid of 2015. Talking about the specification of the bike, it is equipped with a 250cc 2 cylinder, 8 valves, 4-stroke petrol engine which produces maximum power of 36PS at 1200rpm and maximum torque of 22.6Nm at 10,000 rpm. It offers a top speed of 173 Kmph. Moreover, it comes loaded with features like self start, DIASIL cylinder technology and fuel injection.

Measurement wise, Yamaha YZF-R25 has a length of 2090mm, width of 720mm and height of 1135mm along with a weight of 166kg. The fuel capacity of this bike is 14 litres.

Look wise, Yamaha R25 is built in diamond-type frame and dual color scheme which adds more charm to its beauty. There are three colors available in this bike for Indonesian market such as Black, Red and Blue. Let, see which colors options will Yamaha launch in this bike for India. IF we talk about its rival in India, it will definitely lock it horns with KTM RC 390, Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
